Best Locations for a Photoshoot on Oahu

There are so many beautiful locations on Oahu to capture a special moment or freeze time with family photos. Every beach offers a unique, picturesque scene. If you prefer a mountain backdrop, there are several spots along the windward side with breathtaking views. If you are a morning person (or even if you're not), I highly recommend setting your alarm clock and enjoying the sunrise in one of these beautiful spots on the East side of Oahu:

  • Sandy Beach

  • Halona Beach Cove

  • Waimanalo Beach

  • Lanikai Beach

  • Kailua Beach

  • Kualoa Regional Park

  • Ka'a'awa Beach

*Bellows Beach is another stunning location on the East side of Oahu for photos but is only open to the public from noon on Fridays to midnight on Sundays. Otherwise a military ID is required to get in.

If sunsets are more your thing, I recommend driving up to North Shore. Enjoy the food trucks or an acai bowl in Haleiwa before catching the sunset at one of these beautiful spots:

  • Sunset Beach

  • Kawela Bay

  • Waimea Bay Beach

  • Haleiwa Ali'i Beach Park

Sunsets on the West side of the island are truly stunning! Grab dinner and a Mai Tai at Monkeypod in Ko'olina (or a delicious meal in the gardens at Noe Italian restaurant) before your photoshoot at one of these beautiful spots:

  • Paradise Cove Beach

  • Nimitz Beach

  • Tracks Beach Park

  • Makaha Beach

Visiting the island and prefer to stay closer to the resorts? No problem! Let's capture beautiful photos at one of these spots:

  • Kawaikui Beach Park

  • Kahala Beach

  • Fort DeRussy Beach Park

  • Duke Kahanamoku Beach (Waikiki)

You can't go wrong with any of these locations. Contact me today and let's book one of these locations and create lasting memories.
